One of the newest restaurants in Sherman Oaks, Casita serves modern Mexican fare, all made from scratch. Our food and drinks spotlight fresh ingredients and classic Mexican flavors crafted into a crave-worthy selection of contemporary shared plates, tacos, aquachiles, salads, craft margaritas and much more.


Nestled on Ventura Boulevard’s Restaurant Row, Casita’s elevated coastal cuisine complements our dining room, bar and patio designed to transport you to the beaches of Tulum, Mexico. Our vibrant and lively restaurant creates a unique dining experience, whether you’re here for drinks and bites or a dinner that’ll ignite the senses.   


Casita is the sister restaurant to Taisho Japanese Restaurant & Bar located just across the street from us.

Christian is a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry, having created, opened and managed trendsetting restaurants and bars across the country, including Katana and Sushi Roku. He is also the creator of the best restaurants and bars in Sherman Oaks: Taisho and Casita. He has held virtually every restaurant position, from server to executive, which ensures every customer touchpoint at Casita creates a stellar experience. 


When not at Casita, you can find Christian at home with his wife and two kids.

Born and raised in NY, Paul has called Los Angeles home for the past 20 years. Before opening Taisho and Casita, he managed various hospitality mainstays, including BOA Steakhouse and W Hotels. His 25-year experience and relentless passion for hospitality are a foundation for our company culture.


Paul is a proud husband and father of two. When you dine with us, ask for him and he'll ensure you feel like family.
